This Website is meant for use by students of our Abacus center for practicing and appearing for online evaluation and examinations. Their parent's will use the same for registering, making payments and to see the progress of their child from our Analytical dashboard.

Other than content you own, which you may have opted to include on this Website, under these Terms, SIP Abacus, Kasavanahalli and/or its licensors own all rights to the intellectual property and material contained in this Website, and all such rights are reserved. 7. Indemnification

When you enroll your child as a student (“learner”) on our site or related Abacus courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as the following:

Student's Name
Address & Contact info
Occupation details
Student's age & blood group
Email policy: Fee receipts and other course related updates are shared via registered email. We may also send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at mahuya@sipabacuskvh.com

4. SIP Academy
We are a registered franchisee of SIP Academy, India ("SIP Academy"). They provide us with the offline course materials, certificates that allow us to sell our product/services to you.
Some of Your demographic data as above are stored through SIP Academy's data storage, databases. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as Razorpay. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

We do not store any payment information such as card & Payment gateway details except transaction status i.e. failure or successfull transaction

SIP Abacus, Kasavanahalli offers a Refund Policy which is Fair and Equitable.
Upon enrolling in a course with any educational institution a student is entering a legal agreement under common law, in which they agree to abide by the conditions of enrolment (including meeting stated payments), in exchange for the service offered by the institution in the delivery of the course.
Please note, changes in your circumstances are not the responsibility SIP Abacus, Kasavanahalli and neither can SIP Abacus, Kasavanahalli be held liable for changes in your circumstances.
In a situation where a student wishes to cancel or change their enrolment, and as a measure of goodwill, SIP Abacus, Kasavanahalli will allow the following option.
Please read the following option and apply in writing to the Center Head at mahuya@sipabacuskvh.com:
Within 7 days:
For a period of 7 days from enrolment, a partial refund will be given on the total amount of tuition fees paid at the time of cancellation. The student must notify the Academy’s administration department in writing and the letter be received within the 14 day period, either by fax, email, mail or delivered in person.
If you apply for a refund after 7 days our refund policy does not apply. However, you will have the option to change your course to another without incuring additional charges.
The onus is on the child's parent to ensure and confirm that written notification of withdrawal is lodged. The academy will not be responsible for messages going astray.
In case if anyone chooses to opt out just after the admission, we will refund the entire Registration fee. However if any course materials have already been sent to the student; a standard deduction on actual price of the materials and courier charges would be deducted.
At any time during enrolment the student may apply to defer their course for a maximum period of 1 month period. Such an application must be supported in writing by documentation that explains why they cannot continue their studies for a period of time (eg. a letter of explanation). Note: Recommencement fees may apply in case the deferred period is more than 1 month, please contact the Center Head for more details.
Disclaimer: Every attempt is made to ensure all information from the academy is accurate and that the student has attained the competencies taught in a course, at the point of their assessment. Beyond this point, the student is responsible to maintain their acquired competencies, and apply acquired knowledge and skills in a way which is appropriate to the unique characteristics of each application. This will release the Academy from any liability, action and claims of whatsoever nature in connection with, or arising from any such information, instruction or advice, given by any student or ex-student, whether directions given during the course are followed or not.
Courses, course notes and materials are not to be sold, loaned, copied, or used in any way outside of the pursuit of studying the course by the child who is enrolled in the course, unless permission is sought and granted in writing by the Center Head.
